Ali-Ioli Spanish Cuisine: Authentic Tapas and Sangria in Finsbury Park

Since there are a handful of Spanish Tapas in the Finsbury Park area to which we are quite regular already, we were planning to find an opportunity to try this conveniently located place which we've been eyeing for a while. You can feel the authenticity from the moment you enter. Simple menu with classics much more reasonably priced then in nearby competitors'. We've had a few of our favourites accompanied by a proper Sangria and are looking forward to coming back for more. Thanks to Javi for the lovely service and the chef for tasty meal.

Just had the most amazing meal. We chose 6 plates of tapas between the 2 of us- too much really but everything sounded so good!! The potatoes were amazing, the artichoke was grilled with a lovely BBQ charring flavour. Everything wa fresh and so tasty and flavoursome.

Great Spanish authentic restaurant! Really affordable, and very delicious! Especially great and generous portions! The aioli is amazing, the croquetas was great, and the ribs super tender! The paella was lacking a bit of depth in flavour but otherwise everything else was amazing!

Delicioso! Authentic Spanish flavors and speedy service. The vibe was bright and airy, and veggie/vegan options abounded. Huge props to our server Javi who was attentive and charming.

Very welcoming, waiters are service oriented always smiling. Had the best paella & yummy brownie with ice cream for dessert. Clean & nice atmosphere when you dine it. Keep it up will recommend to friends. Me & my friend enjoyed our foods. Very good.

We were passing here very early so can’t really complain about atmosphere as we were the only customers! Good welcome, reasonable sized menu. Saw a ‘starter’ I’d never had - potato and seafood soup - so ordered that with a couple of tapas. The soup was delicious and included Calimari, prawns and mussels. Excellent stock. Large portion. The tapas were spinach and (I think) cream cheese croquettas and chorizo in wine. Again, very good size and tasty. My husband ordered what was described as something like ham, eggs and chips! A huge plate of Jamon covering scrambled eggs and potatoes a bit like bravas with some padrón peppers. A bit overwhelming in size he thought. My sangria was fantastic - not too sweet. A great neighbourhood restaurant.

Fresh and tasty spanish food. Gambas al ajillo and seafood paella are super recommended. Celebrated my birthday there, nice atmosphere and great service. Thank u ali-loli! Definitely will go back soon.

One fried took us to this restaurant promising that we would love the chicken paella. We decided to go for the seafood one and it was delicious as well. The waiter was amazing, very friendly and the vibe there was cozy and remember me the time I had in Spain.
